An unusual woodland perennial, Melittis ‘Royal Velvet Distinction’ forms stands of tall stems with large green leaves. Each stem is clothed with orchid-like white and purple flowers throughout late spring and early summer, which are attractive to bees. A perfect addition to herbaceous borders, woodland gardens and wildlife gardens this informal herbaceous perennial is fully hardy and easy to grow in a shady spot. Height: 70cm (28″).
